Two-Time Defending Champions Picked 3rd/4th in Preseason Big Sky Polls

The two-time defending Big Sky Conference champion Montana State women’s basketball team was picked to finish third in the league’s preseason coaches’ poll released by the Big Sky office on Friday afternoon.
The two-time defending Big Sky Conference champion Montana State women's basketball team was picked to finish third in the league's preseason coaches' poll released by the Big Sky office on Friday afternoon. In addition, the Bobcats were tabbed third in the BSC preseason media poll.
"It's no secret that Northern Colorado should be the league favorite with all of their returning fire power," said MSU head coach Tricia Binford, who is entering her 13th season at the helm of the Bobcat program. "The Big Sky Conference has a lot of depth and talent returning and many things can happen from October to March. For us, it's about focusing on the process and getting better every day."
Montana State will open its 2017-18 schedule when it hosts Montana Tech in exhibition play on Nov. 1.
