MSU's second alumni weekend a huge success
Dear Men's Basketball Alumni,
I want to say thank you! The effort and commitment that each and every one of you showed to come back and make the 2nd Alumni Weekend special was unreal.
There are so many reasons that I am lucky to be the coach at Montana State University, but none bigger than what was on display this weekend! So many of you great Bobcats have gone on and done some incredible things with your lives after leaving MSU with your degree. But what made this weekend so incredible was to watch you guys pick up in mid-sentence a conversation that started as far back as 25 years ago, seeing guys dive on the floor in a game that didn't count but showing that you can't change "championship personality," listening to some of the stories that to be honest can't be verified by the Internet but yet they made us all laugh, and seeing Casey hit the game winning shot that I know will motivate all to work on their defense to shut him down in the next alumni get together!!
I also want to thank The Sixth Man Club for making this event possible. These individuals support our players and our program in many important ways, and Reunion Weekend is an example of the good things that come from this support.
Again thanks for making our alumni weekend special and for showing our current players how to be a "Bobcat!"
Sincerely
Brian Fish
