Bobcat Guard Tyler Hall Lauded as One of College Basketball's Finest

MSU sophomore named top guard outside of Power 5 leagues
In the heat of summer, Bobcat basketball player Tyler Hall is already making news.
A sophomore guard, Hall was listed as a "Non-Power 5 Conference Guard to Watch" by TheHoopsColumn.com, called "a shifty guard off the dribble" and lauded for his "natural ability to lure defenders asleep and drive right past them." Hall averaged 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists for the Cats as a freshman in 2015-16. He earned Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors, and was among the nation's top frosh in three-pointers and scoring.
"Tyler had a special freshman season," said Montana State coach Brian Fish, "but he understands that last year's accomplishments have no bearing on success in the future. He worked hard over the summer, but to raise his game he'll need to keep grinding."
Hall is one of three starters returning for the Bobcats this season, joining Zach Green and Quinton Everett. The Hoops Column says Hall "has a real chance to become one of the premier players in all of college basketball."
