Nordgaard Named Big Sky Player of the Week

Montana State forward Riley Nordgaard was named league player of the week for her efforts last week in California
OGDEN, Utah (November 29, 2016) - As teams try to prove themselves on the #RoadToReno, picking up road wins is a valuable part of the process.
In its first six games, Montana State has had just one home game, and the Bobcats have found a way to continue growing away from Bozeman. After earning two road wins over West Coast Conference opponents this past weekend, the Bobcats evened their season at 3-3, with two home games in Worthington Arena upcoming.
MSU forward Riley Nordgaard has played an important role in all of those games, and played an important role in the Bobcats getting two wins over Pacific and Santa Clara. For her role in Montana State's success, Nordgaard earned #BigSkyWBB weekly honors.
Montana State went 2-1 on the weekend, including a loss at undefeated UC Davis. Nordgaard averaged 12.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game. She had two double-doubles in the week, including scoring 17 points in a win over Santa Clara.
