Meeting people from all over the world has definitely been an interesting and enjoyable part of the trip. Day one of the Bahamas has been everything we expected and I can't wait to see what the next few days have in store! - Michelle Seitz
The Montana State women's basketball squad embarked on a six-day foreign tour of the Bahamas on Saturday. Teams are allowed international travel every four years. Check back daily for blogs and pictures from the players, and their adventures. In addition to team-building, the Bobcats will play two games, slated for Monday and Tuesday evenings.

5/10/15 - Today in the Bahamas we started off the trip with going straight to the beach. All of us spent majority of the morning and afternoon swimming in the clear water and getting our tan on. Definitely one of my favorite things to do is be on a beach. The rest of the day was more exciting. The post players - Alexa, Peyton, Haley, Ashton, and I - all decided we wanted to try all the slides! It was so fun and very nerve racking. We went on one drop off called 'Leap of Faith.' The name speaks for itself and each one of us gave some type of scream on the way down. This slide also went through a shark tank! The Bahamas are beautiful with endless activities and my goal is to do it all. Today was filled with so much laughter, good food, and sunshine. I want to thank everyone who has been a part of making this trip possible! And above all thank God for keeping us safe through our travels and adventures.
5/10/15 - One of the coolest experiences here at the Bahamas is seeing all of the marine life. We've seen sharks, turtles, Manta Rays, sting rays, star fish, sea horses, jelly fish and an assortment of other fish as well. Today during one of our breaks from the beach, we got to watch a guy in one of the fish tanks feed a giant Manta Ray some fish. I've never seen anything like it! Another part of our day was spent on the Lazy River. The name is a little deceiving though. It was very relaxing until we hit the rapids that sent us shooting down the river. There were rapids and waves sporadically along the river that kept our momentum moving forward. After the Lazy River, Kalli, Haley and I also went on the Leap of Faith water slide. While waiting in line we met a couple from Belgium so it was really interesting talking with them. We also met a couple from Jamaica who actually talked Kalli into going down the slide when she tried to bail out last second and take the stairs back down instead of the five-second ride down the slide. For the most part, people are extremely friendly and very interested when we tell them we are from Montana. Meeting people from all over the world has definitely been an interesting and enjoyable part of the trip. Day one of the Bahamas has been everything we expected and I can't wait to see what the next few days have in store!
