BOBCAT NOTES
• Sophomore quarterback Dakota Prukop compiled 379 yards of total offense Saturday, which raises his average to 301.0 yards per game. That total is second in the Big Sky and fifth in the FCS.
• Prukop has completed 68.1 percent of his passes this season, second-best mark in the Big Sky and 20th-best in the FCS. That includes a 76.7% rate against non-FBS competition.
• Prukop has carried 47 times for 270 yards this season, both marks far and away leading the team. His five rushing touchdowns is tied for the team lead.
• Brian Flotkoetter caught nine passes for 132 yards against Central Arkansas, both career highs, and also hauled in one scoring strike.
• While the Cats entered the season with expectations of exploiting its outstanding kick return game, it has been the other side of the kickoff equation that has stood out through three games. MSU leads the Big Sky in kickoff coverage, with a 43.0 net average, and Luke Daly's 12 touchbacks is the best mark in the league by more than twice (the next-best total is five).
• Trevor Bolton leads the nation in punting average at 48.8 yards per kick, and he averaged 55.8 yards a punt Saturday against Central Arkansas. All four of his punts travelled at least 50 yards, and three of the four pinned the Bears at or inside the five yard-line.
• Bolton and Jake Bleskin have handled punting chores for the Bobcats this season, and have combined to push the Cats into the Big Sky lead in net punting (45.7) and second in the FCS.
• Anthony Knight and Dakota Prukop each have five rushing touchdowns this season, most in the Big Sky and seventh in the FCS.
