A look back at MSU's loss to Eastern Washington
He looked like that, and a lot more on Saturday. Johnson rushed for a career-high 150 yards, helping MSU bash Eastern Washington's defense for 299 yards on the ground in the 52-51 Eagles win. But Johnson also caught three passes for 62 yards, and turned two of them into touchdowns. He returned one punt for 22 yards, and four kickoffs for 141 yards.
Those numbers added up to a school record for the senior from Bakersfield, Calif. He piled up 374 all-purpose yards, shattering the previous record of 305 yards by Michael Jefferson in 2006. It was the sixth-highest total in Big Sky Conference history.

BOBCAT NOTES
• Shawn Johnson's 374 all-purpose yards snaps Michael Jefferson's eight-year old school record of 305 yards vs. Idaho State. His 181.3 all-purpose yards per game leads the Big Sky and is ninth in the FCS.
• Johnson's 150 rushing yards was his career high, and his 3,519 career all-purpose yards is now fourth in school history.
• Dakota Prukop's four touchdown passes Saturday were the most by a Bobcat since DeNarius McGhee's four against Portland State in 2012.
• Montana State's 51 points Saturday was the most ever by a Bobcat team in a loss, and the 103 points MSU and Eastern Washington combined to score was the third-most in program history
• Dakota Prukop moved into second in the Big Sky in pass efficiency after Saturday's 248-yard, four-touchdown performance. His .674 completion percentage is best in the Big Sky.
• Prukop's 304.8 yards of total offense is also second in the Big Sky, behind Eastern Washington's Vernon Adams.
• Tanner Roderick's 122 receiving yards made him the second Bobcat in as many weeks (joining
• Trevor Bolton's 47.5 yards per punt continues to lead the Big Sky, and is third in the FCS.
• The Bobcats have moved into third in the Big Sky and 11th in the FCS with 40.3 points per game. MSU averages 50 points over the last three games.
• Luke Daly converted six of his nine kickoffs into touchbacks Saturday, and eight of the nine pinned Eastern at or inside the 25-yard line. His 18 touchbacks is far and away the most in the Big Sky.
