Bobcat Women’s Basketball Squad Hosts Carroll College

Binford returns eight letterwinners, including four starters to the MSU roster. Jasmine Hommes, who garnered All-Big Sky Honorable Mention kudos last winter, returns as the Bobcats’ leading scorer, after averaging 13.7 points per game.
The 2014-15 edition of Montana State women's basketball will open its season hosting Carroll College in an exhibition game, Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. in Worthington Arena. The game will not count on either schools schedule.
"Exhibition games give us a good starting point in terms of where we are and where we need to go," said MSU Head Coach Tricia Binford, who enters her 10th season with the Bobcats. "The kids are excited to play against someone else, and Carroll College is always a great, competitive team. Rachelle's (Gardner-Sayers) team always comes in very well prepared, so it should be a good test for us."
