Bobcat Women Picked in Middle of Big Sky Basketball Polls

“Preseason polls are everybody’s best guess in October,” said 10th-year MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “The only thing that matters is where you finish in March. The polls are fun for fans. This year’s polls show the parity in the Big Sky Conference. It’ll be interesting to see how things shake-out over the next five months.”
The Montana State women's basketball team was picked to finish in the middle of the Big Sky pack in the league's preseason coaches and media polls, released Wednesday by the conference office on Thursday.
The Big Sky women's basketball coaches ranked the Bocbats sixth, while media members moved MSU down one spot to seventh. Defending Big Sky Conference champion North Dakota was picked to finish atop the league standings in both polls.

The Bobcats open exhibition play on Saturday, Nov. 1 against Carroll College at 2 p.m. in Worthington Arena.
