MSU returns a pair of starters from 2013-14 squad
Big Sky Conference coaches and media members each picked Montana State to finish 11th in the league's new 12-team configuration, the conference office announced Thursday.
The coaches and media found consensus on seven of the 12 selections, beginning with preseason favorite Weber State. The Wildcats won the Big Sky regular season and post-season tournament titles last year, and have won at least 10 conference games in a league-record eight consecutive seasons.
Montana State returns a pair of starters from the 2013-14 squad that finished 14-17 overall, 9-11 in league play, and missed the Big Sky Tournament. First-year head coach Brian Fish incorporates four newcomers, all freshmen, into his 12-player roster.
Sacramento State (fourth), Northern Colorado (sixth) and the league's bottom four teams (North Dakota, Idaho State, Montana State and Southern Utah) all landed in the same spot in both polls, which are below…
