MSU faces heat, Hornets in Superior California this weekend
After spending September exclusively in Bobcat Stadium, Montana State opens October at Sacramento State in a showdown of explosive quarterbacks and noisy offenses. This game features two teams scoring around 38 points and piling up around 450 yards a game. Hornets quarterback Garrett Safron throws for 237.4 yards a game while completing 59.0% of his passes, while Bobcat sophomore Dakota Prukop averages 230.0 yards passing with a 68.1% completion rate. Safron's cast of weapons includes potent receiving duo, Nnamdi Agude and DeAndre Carter, and talented running back Jordan Robinson. Prukop's offensive infrastructure continues to evolve, with starting receiver Brian Flotkoetter lost but youngsters Justin Paige and Mitchell Herbert stepping up.
