Bobcat Basketball Scrimmage Re-Scheduled to Thursday

Bobcat basketball fans get their first look at the 2013-14 MSU men's team on Thursday
Montana State men's basketball coach Brad Huse will have to wait a couple extra days to see how his Bobcats perform in public, but he thinks it will be worth the wait. MSU moved its Blue-Gold Scrimmage from Tuesday to Thursday at 7 pm in Worthington Arena.
"Our guys have worked hard this past three-plus weeks," Huse said, "and it's nice to shift gears here and put some uniforms on and change the routine. We're dealing with a few nicked up guys but we're hoping we can be relatively close to full strength on Thursday."
Huse is enthusiastic about where his team stands just past the halfway point between the beginning of fall practice and the team's first exhibition game. "Other than a couple of injuries we're having a great fall and this group is working consistently hard," he said. "They've shown they are determined to have a good season. I know they're energized to do some things a little different and playing this Blue-Gold scrimmage is an exciting start for the team."
The team plans to debut its 2013-14 uniforms Thursday evening. The event is free and open to the public.
