MSU hosts 6th Man meet and greet and Blue-Gold Scrimmage in coming weeks
With cooler weather in the air, Bobcat basketball fans have opportunities in the upcoming weeks to prepare for the new basketball season.
MSU's 6th Man Club, which supports the Bobcat men's basketball program, hosts a Kickoff Party on Thursday, October 17, from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Rocking R Bar in downtown Bozeman. Bobcat coach Brad Huse will introduce members of his coaching staff, including newcomers Justin Wetzel from Cut Bank, Whitefish's Luke Fennelly, and former Wyoming Cowboy Chris Haslam. MSU Vice President for Administration and Finance Terry Liest will also be on hand, with prizes given away.
The Bobcats' annual Blue-Gold Scrimmage occurs on Worthington Arena's new basketball floor on October 22. MSU's 2013-14 team debuts, a squad which features Antonio Biglow, Marcus Colbert, Flavien Davis and Paul Egwuonwu. The scrimmage begins at 6:30 pm.
