Former Bobcat Basketball Standout Takes Career to Next Level

Erica Perry, one of the best players in MSU women's basektball history, has signed to play professionally in Spain.
Former Montana State women's basketball standout Erica Perry has signed a professional contract with Pabellon Ourense, a second division team in Spain.
According to Perry, the Spanish league runs 7-8 months with a mid-season break in December.
Perry garnered First Team All Big Sky honors after averaging 13.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game her senior season. In addition, she reached the 1,000 point plateau and finished her career second on MSU's all-time steals list and fourth on the all-time assists chart.
“Erica certainly has the ability to play professionally and this is a great opportunity for her,” said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “There is a lot of great basketball in Europe, and especially in Spain. I know she is well-prepared for this new adventure and wish her nothing but success.”
Perry becomes the third player under Binford's tutelage to play professionally. She joins Rebecca Mercer, Australia, and Mara Hoefer, Germany.
