Perry Named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week

Senior Erica Perry was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week following her effor as the Bobcats knocked off Sacramento State, last week.
Montana State's Erica Perry has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week for games played the week of February 15th through the 21st. This is first weekly award this season for the senior forward from Lynwood, Calif. The Bobcats snapped Sacramento State's seven-game winning streak in the Hornets' Nest this weekend. Montana State has now won four of its last five games.
Perry notched 18 points, seven assists, four rebounds and a steal in the Bobcats' only game of the week. She finished the game 7-of-10 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line. With the Hornets cutting the Bobcat lead to three points with 3:10 left in the second half, Perry converted an old-fashion three-point play to stem the tide. Montana State then pulled away to win 84-73.
Perry is currently ranked 3rd on the conference's all-time steals list with 273. She has improved from 11th place at the beginning of the season. Former Bobcat Liz Holz holds the current record with 340. She also has 401 career assists, putting her in a tie for 19th on the Big Sky list.
