MSU-IDAHO STATE GAME NOTES (pdf)
Montana State answered its first league loss with a 539-yard offensive outburst in a 37-35 win over Northern Colorado, and prepares to face explosive Idaho State in Holt Arena on Saturday. Denarius McGhee threw for 400 yards vs. NC, the seventh-best passing game in school history, the most ever by a freshman, and the best in the Big Sky Conference this season. McGhee spread the ball around to an incredible degree, hitting eight different receivers with none accumulating more than four catches of 73 yards. Dan Ogden, playing inside at tackle again after a brief stint at end, had a pair of sacks.
