Montana State (2010) Enters the season as MSU’s starting defensive tackle… Third Team Preseason All-America and ranked as one of The Sports Network’s Top 10 Defensive Linemen of 2010 in the preseason… also Preseason All-Big Sky First Team. (2009) Earned First Team All-Big Sky honors as one of the most productive interior linemen in the FCS… also named the team’s Joe Tiller Defensive Coaches Choice Award winner… logged 44 tackles, including 8.0 for a loss with 5.5 sacks… season-high eight tackles, including two for a loss, against Weber State… registered tackles behind the line of scrimmage in seven of MSU’s 11 games… among the top three Big Sky interior linemen in tackles-for-loss. (2008) Posted a solid sophomore campaign, starting five games… limited to 10 games by injuries, missing the Sacramento State and Portland State games… logged 40 tackles, and his 10.5 for a loss was third on the team… also registered five sacks, second-best on the squad… his nine tackles at Montana was a season high… two tackles-for-loss against Northern Colorado. (2007) Saw extensive action at defensive tackle, playing in all 11 games… registered seven tackles, two for a loss… intercepted a Dixie State pass and returned it 62 yards for a touchdown.
Flathead An all-state and Great Falls Tribune Super-State linebacker for Grady Bennett at Flathead High as a senior… also first team all-state as a junior, and honorable mention as a fullback… chosen for the Shrine and MonDak All-Star games… MSU summer camp MVP in 2006… a team captain and three-year starter… state champion in the shot put and second in the state as a heavyweight wrestler as a junior… was ranked among the top heavyweights in the state as a senior.

Personal Born Dan Thomas Ogden on January 8, 1989 in Spokane… one of four children of Lynne Rider and John Ogden… his brother John played football at Montana, but suffered a career-ending injury.
