A quick look inside Montana State's 34-7 loss at NAU Saturday
Even in the loss on Saturday Montana State finished even in turnover margin (two giveaways and two takeaways), and the Bobcats remain +6 in turnover margin this season… MSU's 123 total yards at Northern Arizona was by far the lowest mark of the season, and was the fewest yards by a Bobcat team since Montana held MSU to 89 yards in a 28-3 Grizzly win in 2000… Montana State played 24 full quarters of football in 2010 prior to the NAU game, surpassing the 123 yards MSU accumulated in Saturday's game in 13 of those periods (reaching 122 yards in the second quarter against Washington State) while sitting on large leads three times in the fourth quarter this season… even after Saturday's performance, MSU continues to lead the Big Sky in total offense (460.0) and scoring offense (39.9).
