Montana State Women’s Basketball Announces 2009-10 Schedule

Headlining this season's slate are home games against Brigham Young, Gonzaga, Washington State, UC Riverside and MSU Northern. In addition, the Bobcats welcome back the Wingate Thanksgiving Classic that will feature Winthrop, Utah Valley and Southern Utah.
Gonzaga advanced to the second-round of the NCAA tournament last season, while UC Riverside, Winthrop, and Portland played in the WNIT. In Big Sky play, the Bobcats will face Montana and Portland State- both of which advanced to postseason action.
Non-conference road games include CS Bakersfield, Pacific, Idaho, Boise State, Denver and Portland.
“I really like the balance of our 2009-10 schedule,” Binford said. “We have very challenging games both at home and on the road. The return of the Wingate Thanksgiving Classic will help prepare us for the back-to-back games we'll face during the Big Sky Conference season.”
Montana State will open its Big Sky ledger when it hosts Weber State on Jan. 1.
