Senior center Divaldo Mbunga earned Bobcat MVP honors and shared the team's Defensive Player of the Year Award, as Montana State men's basketball coach Brad Huse announced his team's year-end awards on Tuesday.
Mbunga, who led the Big Sky Conference in rebounding and blocked shots, earned second team all-conference honors. He shared MSU defensive MVP honors with Will Bynum, who led the league in steals. Mbunga was also recognized for the Cole-Tierney African American Award he received at MSU's 86th Annual Day of Student Recognition.
