Cal Poly Leads After First Round of Desert Classic

Hannah Brabb of Cal Poly and Christy Carter of Oral Roberts shot a par-72 for the first round to lead the field of 110 golfers.
Montana State sits in 15th place with a team score of 324. LaRae Smith leads the 'Cats with a 78 followed by Stephanie Simmons (79), Kelly Gillum (83), Shannon Donnegan and Tessa Stevenson (84) and Hillary Folkvord (87). Kate Steffanich will finish her first round Tuesday.
