2022-23: Competed in three indoor meets and three outdoor meets ... Took second in the 100m with a personal-best time of 10.97 and second in the 200m at the Tom Gage Classic on his home track ... Raced in the 100m and 200m at the Bengal Invitational (April 29) ... Took third in the 200m and seventh in the 60m at the Big Sky Tuner to close his indoor season ... Placed third in the 200m at the Bobcat Performance in Bozeman (February 10)
2021-22: Competed in three indoor meets and did not compete during outdoor season ... Placed fifth in the long jump with a personal-best jump of 6.00m and eighth in the 200m at the Bobcat PReview (December 3) ... Won the 200m took third in the long jump at the Bobcat Challenge
Background: Graduated from Hardin High School in 2021 … A three-time qualifier for the MHSA Class A State Track and Field Championships … Earned a gold medal for the Bulldogs in both the 200 and 4x400 relay as a senior … Also finished third in the 100, fourth in the triple jump and third in the 4x100 relay at the state meet … Was the divisional champion in triple jump heading into the state meet as a senior … Set personal bests in 2021 in the 100 (10.92), 200 (21.92) and the triple jump (44-02.50) … Prior best at state meet came with third-place finishes as a sophomore in both the 200 and triple jump … Also advanced to the Class A meet in the 100 that year … A back-to-back triple jump champion at the divisional meet.
