Background: Graduated from Butte High School in 2021 … Appeared in five events at the MHSA Class AA Track and Field Championships in consecutive seasons … Repeated back-to-back runner-up finishes in the high jump … Matched a career-high 5-foot-6 clearance in the event as a senior … Earned bronze medals in both the triple jump (37-03.25) and the 400 (58.45 seconds) … A scorer in all five events participated at the state meet as a senior … Placed fifth in the 300 hurdles for second highest showing at meet as a sophomore … Made three trips to the Class AA championships … Took first at divisional meet as a senior in both the high jump and 300 hurdles … Participated in multiple areas for the Bulldogs including sprint and hurdle events, the high jump, long jump, triple jump and on relay squads during her prep career … Also had experience in cross country at Butte … Ran two seasons for the Bulldogs and made an appearance at the MHSA Class AA State Championships as a freshman … Was a co-valedictorian for the Butte Class of 2021 … Plans to major in engineering.
