2024-25 Season (Junior): Became Montana State's third-ever individual Big Sky Tournament champion ... Made history as first-ever Bobcat to ever compete in the NCAA postseason ... Finished T-48th at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional, carding an 82-77-71 (+14, 230) ... Final round score of 71 at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional was sixth-best round of the day ... Won thrilling Big Sky Championship with 4-under-par 209 performance (70-70-69) ... Shot career-best round of 2-under-par 69 over final 18 holes of Big Sky Championship to clinch the win ... Victory was the first of Montoya's career and her first-ever collegiate top-ten finish at a tournament ... Finished T-14th at Eagle Invitational in September with 36-hole score of 145 (72-73) for second-best 36-hole score in program history ... Finished T-18th at Portland State Invitational in October, carding a 12-over-par 228 (77-72-79) ... Victory at Big Sky Championship made her the 13th-ever Bobcat to win a stroke-play tournament ... 2023-24 Season (Sophomore): Ended the season with the eighth-best single season scoring average in program history (75.89) ... Helped Montana State obliterate the school record for 4-player team scoring average (297.10) ... Finished as the Cats' second-lowest scorer at two tournaments, finishing as their No. 3 on one occasion ... Finished t-30th at the Big Sky Championship, shooting an even-par 71 in the final round to help Montana State finish fourth as a team, their second-best finish since 2005 ... Shot a 1-under par 215 (70-71-74) at the Big Sky '54 for IX' Tournament in September to tie for 12th ... Her 54-hole tournament score of 215 was the eighth-best mark by a Bobcat in program history

Background: Earned all-state honors in golf all four seasons at Borah High School in Boise, Idaho... also started for four seasons in basketball and one in soccer... one of four children of Lloyd and Michelle Montoya... active in First Tee Idaho and Young Life in Boise, and enjoys camping, music, podcasts, reading and skiing.
