Background: Graduated from Bozeman High School in 2021 … Completed prep career with fifth-place finishes in both the 1600 (5:07.92) and the 3200 (11:02.95) at the MHSA Class AA State Track and Field Championships … Had previously scored three times at the Class AA meet including a fifth-place finish in the 1600 as a sophomore … Ran a personal-best time of 11:00.33 that year at the Arcadia Invitational in California … As a senior she completed four individual runner-up performances in cross country before taking 13th overall at the Class AA Championships … Best finish at the state meet came as a junior when she took ninth while her sophomore season featured her personal-best time on a 5-kilometer course of 18 minutes, 39.5 seconds … As a freshman placed first in three events and also finished a career-best fifth at the Nike Northwest Regional Championships with a time of 19.18.8.
