HIGH SCHOOL: French, a 6-2 center who prepped at St. Bernard High School, missed most of her senior season after tearing her ACL and meniscus...returned to the line-up for St. Bernard’s first CIF playoff game and helped guide the squad to a Division V state finalist appearance....as a junior, she averaged 15.4 points, 18.3 rebounds, 4.3 blocks, 3.2 assists and 2.2 steals to garner all CIF honors for the Vikings...for her efforts, French was the Division VI Player of the Year and was a Daily Breeze All Area performer; a first-team all-league pick; and an all-state second-team honoree...a four-year letterwinner, French was a four-time honor roll recipient and a four-time scholar-athlete.
