FRESHMAN: Banis played in 16 of Montana State’s 31 games…played in Bobcats’ first 14 games before suffering an MCL tear in the Big Sky Conference opener against Sacramento State…in 14 minutes in game vs. Sacramento State recorded 15 points and four rebounds, while shooting 70 percent from the field…notched season-best 28 points at Utah Valley, connecting on 11-of-17 from the floor…finished season averaging 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game…came back from injury to play in MSU’s first-round Big Sky tournament game against Eastern Washington and registered four points and four rebounds…prior to injury, posted nine double-figure scoring game and one double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds against Denver…had career-high four blocks against Cal State Bakersfield…finished season shooting 55 percent from the field…an All Big Sky Conference Academic selection.
2009-10: Sat out 2009-10 season as a redshirt freshman.
