Montana State: (2014) Begins his first season at MSU with the opportunity to contribute on the perimeter… considered a heady and hard-nosed wing with the ability to add scoring punch from outside.
Shawnee Mission East: A standout at Shawnee Mission East in the Kansas City area, earning second team all-state and all-conference honors… finished with 1,087 career points, third in school history… helped his team to a fourth-place finish in the state tournament as a senior, when he averaged 14 points, three rebounds and three assists a game… also played football at SME.
Academics: Enrolled in MSU’s University Studies program.
Personal: Born Vance Simon Wentz on December 29, 1994, in Lawrence, KS… one of three children of David and Jennifer Wentz… former prep teammates include Northwest Missouri State’s Zach Schneider.
