As Football Operations Director and Director of Player Personnel, Moore coordinates team travel and coaches recruiting travel, oversees the yearly operating budget, collaborates with athletic administration daily, organizes official and unofficial visits, and manages scholarship and roster numbers. He also serves in several other internal roles.
Moore brings to the program broad knowledge of athletics operations and a demonstrated excellence in intercollegiate athletics leadership. He earned a Master’s of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington, where he graduated with highest honors and received a merit scholarship award for his outstanding performance and contributions as a student. He worked for a year as a recruiting assistant for the University of Washington football program and coached at Seattle Preparatory School before returning to the Bobcat football program in 2016.
As Football Operations Director at MSU, Moore drew on his dedication to student-athletes to create a unique service opportunity for Montana State football players. In the summer of 2018, he led 10 team members on a Habitat for Humanity service project to Poland where the group built a home for a family and learned about the country’s culture and history. This opportunity allowed the Bobcat players involved a tangible, community-centered experience to positively impact others and gain international experience, and reflects a similar commitment in Moore's life that includes a similar trip that he made as an individual during his college years. Moore is involved in bringing this service opportunity to Bobcat players every summer, building homes in Montana and then abroad in alternating summers.
A Whitehouse Station, New Jersey product, Moore played outside linebacker for the Cats from 2010-14, starting 38 straight games at Sam linebacker over his final three seasons. He was part of three Big Sky Conference Championships, compiling a 45-17 record that included six FCS Playoff games. A team captain as a senior and two-time all-conference choice, Moore logged 194 career tackles with five interceptions. He graduated from MSU in 2014 with highest honors in Political Science, with a minor in history.
