MSU duo adds prestigious academic honors
BOZEMAN, Mont. (Jan. 27, 2026) – A pair of Bobcats added prestigious academic honors to their credentials on Tuesday, when defensive end Kenneth Eiden IV and offense lineman Titan Fleischmann were named 2025 Academic All-America as selected by College Sports Communicators.
Fleischmann, a consensus All-America and 1st Team All-Big Sky choice, earned 1st Team Academic All-America honors. He becomes the first Bobcat offensive lineman in history to earn All-America and Academic All-America honors, and only the third to earn Academic All-America honors. He joins Derrick Isackson in 1989 and Don Leake in 1986. Fleischmann started every game for a 2025 Bobcats team that finished fifth in the FCS in rushing offense.
Renowned for his legendary play in November and the post-season, Eiden led the Cats with 16 tackles-for-loss and 8.0 sacks during MSU's 2025 National Championship season. He finished his career with 27.0 total career sacks, third-most among all active FCS players, and earned 2025 All-America honors. Eiden joins former teammate Brody Grebe, Jon Montoya and Devlan Geddes as MSU defensive ends to earn both All-America and Academic All-America honors.
Eiden and Fleischmann become the 25th and 26th Academic All-Americas in MSU's football history. The Cats have now produced at least one Academic All-America in three straight seasons, and four in the past two campaigns.
