SOPHOMORE (2024-25):
Bunyan played in 30 games last winter, including five starts…finished the season averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game…shot 34% from the field and 94.4% percent from the free throw line connecting on 17-of-18 tosses….recorded 25 assists, 26 steals and five blocked shots…played a pivotal role in MSU’s first-round win over Idaho State at the Big Sky Conference Tournament matching a career-high 15 points, connecting on five-of-10 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers…also dished out two assists and had two steals in 23 minutes of action in the win over the Bengals…pulled down a season-high four rebounds on two occasions, the last coming against South Dakota…matched a career-high five assists in MSU’s win at Northern Colorado…registered a career high five steals in the season-opener against Chadron State…was a Big Sky Conference All-Academic honoree.
FRESHMAN (2023-24):
Played in all 33 games, averaging 21.2 minutes per contest…had four starts on the season…averaged 5.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game…recorded five games in double figures, including a season-high 15 against BYU in the first game of her career…against BYU converted 7-12 from the field…registered five games with five or more rebounds, including a season-best seven rebounds against Idaho State…dished out 42 assists and had 40 steals…tallied season high five assists at Northern Arizona…grabbed season-high four steals at Idaho State…connected on 18 three-pointers, including three triples on two occasions- at St. Mary’s and at Portland State…shot 75% from the line…was an All-Big Sky Conference Academic honoree...was one of 12 players selected to the Great Britain U20 team which competed in The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) European Division B Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria.
PRIOR TO MSU:
Bunyan has played for the Wales National Team since 2016 at both the U16 and U18 levels. In 2022, she was named the most valuable player at the Hoopsfix All Star Classic. At the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship Division B tournament last summer, she averaged 9.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Bunyan had her best outing at the tournament against Croatia with 18 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks and two steals.
