
Bobcats Tabbed Second in Big Sky Preseason Polls

Both the Montana State men’s and women’s squads were tabbed second.
The Big Sky Conference released the results of its 2025 men's and women's cross country preseason coaches' polls this week.
Both the Montana State men's and women's squads were tabbed second.
Last fall, the Bobcat men and women had runner up finishes in their respective races at the league championships in Pocatello, Idaho. Ben Perrin (3rd), Sam Ellis (6th), and Rob McManus (7th) garnered All-Big Sky honors for the MSU men, while Kyla Christopher-Moody (7th) and Grace Gilbreth (10th) received kudos on the women's side.
Northern Arizona's women are unanimous favorites to repeat this season. The Lumberjack women have claimed six-consecutive Big Sky Conference titles.
On the men's side, the Lumberjacks have claimed four-consecutive Big Sky titles, with that run starting in 2021.
This poll was voted on by the league's head coaches. For this poll, coaches are permitted to vote for their own team.
