Boehm Leads Bobcats to Fourth Place Finish at Utah Invite

Montana State notched a combined 130 points in giant slalom to secure a solid fourth place team showing.
Montana State sophomore Gianluca Boehm reached the podium for the second straight time in giant slalom finishing third with a two-run total of 2:04.29 on the final day of the Utah Invitational at Olympic Park.
Also finishing in the point scoring for the Bobcats were Isak Staurset, sixth, 2:04.99, and Jamie Casselman, 14th, 2:05.32. The trio recorded 79 points, second to Colorado's (96) men.
MSU also received finishes from Tanner Perkins, 18th, 2:05.83, and Dawson Yates, 29th, 2:08.6.
CU's Ryder Sarchett won the men's giant slalom in 2:03.51.
The Bobcat women were paced by Lana Zbasnik, who placed 12th in 2:11.66. Also registering points were Nellie Talbot, 16th, 2:12.57, and Ylva Falksete, 18th, 2:13.07.
Denver's Liv Mortiz won the women's giant slalom in 2:09.20.
