The Montana State volleyball team opens its Big Sky Conference season with a pair of league matches beginning on Thursday, Sept. 22 when it hosts Eastern Washington in Shroyer Gym at 7 p.m.

BIG SKY CONFERENCE OPENERS: Since the inception of the Big Sky Conference for women in the fall of 1988, Montana State is 14-20 in league openers, including a 3-0 victory over rival Montana last September in Missoula to capture its third straight Mainline Trophy over the Grizzlies.
BOBCAT BITES: Montana State is coming off a 1-2 mark at its own Bobcat Invitational last weekend in Shroyer Gym. MSU opened play with a 3-2 victory over Boise State, before falling to No. 18 Washington 3-0, and North Texas 3-1...sophomore Jourdain Klein was named to the Bobcat Invitational All-Tournament team after averaging 2.17 kills and .83 blocks, while posting a .227 attack mark. The product of Ennis, Mont., had her best outing against North Texas with 13 kills, a .276 attack mark and four blocks. In Montana State's win over Boise State, Klein tallied 11 kills, a .242 attack mark and five blocks...true-freshman libero Lauren Lindseth also had a solid tournament for the Bobcats, averaging 3.92 digs per game, while adding three aces. The Great Falls, Mont., native had her best outing of the year against Boise State posting 32 digs, averaging 6.40 saves per game. Lindseth has been in double-digit digs on six occasions this fall...sophomore Jordan Radick provided MSU with an efficient offensive performance at the Bobcat Invitational. Radick, a graduate of Bozeman High, recorded a .352 (25-6-54) attack over the course of three matches/12 sets. She had her best match in MSU's win over Boise State, registering 14 kills, a .462 attack mark and four blocks.

* Jourdain Klein led MSU at the Bobcat Invitational with 26 total kills, averaging 2.17 kps
* Madilyn Siebler made her debut last weekend and averaged a team-best 2.86 kills per set
