Consistent Play Highlights Day Two at Aggie Invitational

The Montana State women’s golf squad continued its solid showing at the Aggie Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 5, as the Bobcats completed the second round of the tournament
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Montana State women's golf squad continued its solid showing at the Aggie Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 5, as the Bobcats completed the second round of the tournament hosted by New Mexico State at their home course.
All four Bobcats in the scoring lineup played within at least two strokes of their first round efforts on Tuesday.
Kameryn Basye followed her first-round 75 with a 2-over-par 74 and is in 28th overall with a 36-hole score of 149 strokes. Bailey Anderson recorded a second consecutive 76 and her 152 has her tied for 45th individually. Jordan Briggs improved on her opening 78 by carding a 76 in the second round. She now is tied for 60th with a 154. Hannah Rosanova has fired rounds of 80 and 81 and her 161 has her tied for 85th overall. Cora Rosanova, playing outside of the MSU lineup, shot a 79 during the second round.
Montana State sits at a 614 following rounds of 309 and 305. The Bobcats are 15th out of 20 in the team standings as Incarnate Word sits in first at 572 strokes.
Four other Bobcats completed the first of two rounds at the Griz Invitational on Tuesday as well. Lucia Prieto Romano led the group by shooting a 6-over 77. She was followed by Annika Danenhauer (82), Hailey Oster (85) and Sofia Rodriguez Todd (88).
Both tournaments conclude play on Wednesday with their respective final rounds.
