August 15
2014 - Shawn Johnson's 62-yard run on the scrimmage's second play set the tone as the Montana State offense piled up 487 yards in the team's final scrimmage of preseason camp. Jayshawn Gates caught a 68-yard touchdown pass.
2012 - Rory Perez got a leg up on grabbing place-kicking duties by hitting field goals of 27 and 48 yards in a mid-week scrimmage. Although none of his competitors - AJ Silva, Keith Leenders, Trebor Bolton - missed either, it was Perez's work that stood out. Perez eventually won place-kicking honors, but not until he served a one-game suspension in the season opener.
