Montana State Athletics Hands Out Awards at Golden Bobcats

Montana State Athletics held its second annual Golden Bobcats awards show on campus inside the Strand Union Building ballrooms on Tuesday, April 16, and a variety of student-athletes earned honors throughout the evening
Montana State Athletics held its second annual Golden Bobcats awards show on campus inside the Strand Union Building ballrooms on Tuesday, April 16. A variety of student-athletes earned honors throughout the evening.
Award winners and finalists were nominated by their fellow Bobcat student-athletes. The Montana Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, The Golden Bobcats Committee and the Academic Center helped select award winners. Winners for the Rising Leader and Unsung Hero awards were nominated and selected by their respective teams.
Inspiration Award
Erik Axelsson; Nordic Skiing
Presented to a member of the Bobcat Athletics community whoe personal efforts and contributions embody the mission of the Athletic Department and serves as an inspiration to all of those around them
Unsung Hero Award
Blake Schulte; Director of Equipment Operations
Presented to a staff member in the Bobcat Athletics community, whose efforts toward, and passion for, the program go above and beyond
