Schulz, Dittemore Highlight MSU’s First Day Effort at Battle at Old Works

Junior Coral Schulz paces a Bobcat lineup that is currently in fifth place through two rounds at Old Works Golf Course
ANACONDA, Mont. – Montana State's Coral Schulz and Clare Dittemore sit among the top 20 on the individual leaderboard as the Bobcats completed the first day of play in the Battle at Old Works on Monday, Sept. 10, at Old Works Golf Course.
Schulz shot back-to-back rounds of 77 and 78 for an 11-over-par 155 to pace the MSU lineup. The Whitefish, Mont., native is in 11th place overall. Dittemore, playing individually, fired two rounds of 78 and is tied for 12th with 156 strokes.
Bobcat freshman Hailey Oster is second in the lineup after shooting a 160. She's currently tied for 23rd after carding rounds of 81 and 79. Juniors Delaney Elliott (161) and Kelly Hooper (163) are tied for 25th and 30th, respectively. Lilly Navarre is tied for 34th with a 165.
Freshmen Sofia Rodriguez Todd and Lucia Prieto Romano completed their first competitive rounds for MSU. Rodriguez Todd (164) is tied for 32nd and Prieto Romano (181) is 47th.
Alexa Clark of Eastern Washington holds the individual lead with a 2-over 146 through 36 holes. Teammate Jaelin Ishikawa and North Dakota State's Emma Groom are tied for second at 151.
The Eagles are atop the team standings with score of 613 (312-301) and sit three strokes ahead of NDSU. Four teams are within four strokes of one another, as MSU (635) trails Cal State Fullerton (632) and Weber State (634). Gonzaga is in sixth at 636.
