Blue and Gold Meet Set for Sunday, Dec. 7

Get a sneak peak at the 2014-15 MSU track and field team on Sunday, as they will compete in the first meet hosted on the newly renovated track.
Montana State Track and Field is set to host its annual Blue and Gold Meet on Sunday, Dec. 7 in the newly renovated Worthington Arena. This will be the first competition on the new Mondo Super X Surface that was installed in the arena earlier this year.
The meet is slated to being at 2:15 p.m. for field events, followed by a 3 p.m. start for track events. The event is free to the general public and is a great chance to get a sneak peak at what the team has in store this season.
Head Coach Dale Kennedy returns 42 letter winners, including 10 All-Big Sky honorees. Chantel Jaeger (Sr./Yakina, Wash.) will be key for the Bobcats again, as she earned 116.25 points last season, the most on the team. Cristian Soratos (Sr./Salinas, Calif.) led the men's team last season with four individual wins, for a total of 72 points.
The Bobcats will begin their regular indoor season on January 5.
