Barnett Starts, Ashworth Readu to Go in Nacogdoches
The healing procees begins Saturday for the Bobcat defense, which returns a pair of starters to active duty.
Safety Eryon Barnett rejoins the starting lineup after missing last week's matchup with Colorado Mesa due to a shoulder injury, while nose tackle Craig Ashworth will play but not start. That role falls to Taylor Sheridan for the second straight week.

While many people are talking about the matchup between Montana State's defensive ends and a Lumberjack line that has not allowed a sack in 2013, Bobcat coach Rob Ash is focusing attention on MSU's offensive line. "Our offensive line is highly motivated this week," Ash said. "They pride themselves in being physical and running the ball, and we didn't have as much success in that area as we would have liked last week."

A week ago, Bobcat fans had no idea what to expect from sophomore quarterback Jake Bleskin. After an efficient and effective start against Colorado Mesa, Ash is anxious to track Bleskin's growth in start no. two. "Jake had a very good week of practice," Ash said. "He's throwing the ball very well. We have a couple wrinkles to iron out from last week, but I'm very, very confident we'll do that. Jake is very excited to be the no. one guy right now."
