Awards season continues to be fruitful for Bobcats
Two Bobcat football players earned All-America honors Thursday, when the Beyond Sports Network tabbed defensive end Brad Daly and return specialist Shawn Johnson.
Daly, a senior from Helena, earned First Team All-America honors after a season in which he led the FCS in sacks and tackles-for-loss for most of the season. Johnson, a junior from Bakersfield, Calif., was named to the second team after finishing among the nation's top five in both kickoff and punt returns. He returned two kicks and a punt for touchdowns.
The BSN All-America Team was chosen by sports information directors, coaches, media, and BSN staff members.
