Jaeger Named Big Sky Athlete of the Week

Freshman sprinter earns first Conference nod just before championship meet
Freshman sprinter Chantel Jaeger was named the Big Sky Conference Track Athlete of the Week, just days before the conference championship meet.
Most recently, Jaeger was the 200 meter dash at the Bobcat Open on Feb. 17, with a lifetime best time of 24.56. Her time of 24.56 ranks her fourth in the Bobcat record books.
She also competed in the 55 dash with a time of 7.34 and placed fourth.
Jaeger, from Yakima, Wash., will compete in her first Big Sky Conference meet beginning on Friday, Feb. 24. She's slated to contend 200 and the relays.
Also nominated: Ani Haas, Montana and Haley Lawrence, Northern Arizona.
