Track and Field signs Squire

Montana State Track and Field announced the signing of Paige Squire to a national letter of intent to run track beginning in the fall of 2011.
Squire comes to Bozeman from Corvallis, Mont. where she is a standout for the Corvallis High School Blue Devils.
At Corvallis, Squire specializes in sprints and hurdles and already has an impressive resume as she prepares for her collegiate career. She was a two-time Montana Class A State Champion in the 100 Meter Hurdles and 200 Meter Dash as a sophomore (2009) and junior (2010). She was also State Champion in the 300 Meter Hurdles in 2010.
In the classroom, Squire boasts a 3.8 GPA and is a three-time All-State Academic honoree.
“To sign a student-athlete of this caliber is outstanding for us,” said head coach Dale Kennedy, in his 28th season at the helm of Bobcat Track and Field. “She will add tremendous depth to our sprint and hurdle events and will make a huge impact on our program.”
Squire plans to major in Elementary Education.
