Northern Colorado (21-5, 12-1) outhit Montana State (10-16, 3-10) .310 to .114, while also holding advantages in digs and blocks.
The Bobcats were paced in the match by Alex Penewell with 11 kills and a .318 attack mark, while middle blocker Chelsea Oemcke chipped in nine kills and two blocks.
Defensively, Meghan Albiston and Rachelle Allen guided MSU with 14 and 11 kills, respectively.
Northern Colorado had three players in double-digits kills, led by Julie Stephenson with 15 winners.
MSU will take its final road trip of the season at Sacramento State on Friday
