A look inside MSU's conference clash
The injury news wasn't altogether awful from Rob Ash on Saturday morning, which in and of itself is news.
Cornerback Arnold Briggs and safety Jordan Craney, both seniors, are expected to play against Northern Colorado on Saturday. The news isn't as good for linebacker Clay Bignell who is not expected to play because his ankle injury didn't respond late in the week as hoped.
The frenzy of injury news that gripped the Gallatin Valley on Friday largely centered around the protective boot Denarius McGhee's foot. The boot was strictly precautionary, and McGhee is slated to start on Saturday.

Bobcat center Shaun Sampson (6-0, 249) is that he will be able to look the players across the line of scrimmage from him in the eyes this week. Northern Colorado's defensive tackles stand 6-1 (Marcus Felker) and 6-2 (Ethan Davis). The bad news? Davis out-weights Sampson by 40 pounds, while Felker (who checks in at 6-1, 370) out-weighs Sampson by 120 pounds.
