Paulette McLane serves as an Accounting Analyst within Fiscal Shared Services, supporting both Athletics and Rodeo at Montana State University. In her role, she provides financial reporting for Athletics, manages Chrome River expense reviews for travel, prospect visits, assisting department staff in reporting procedures. Paulette also processes cash advances, logs payroll spending, and monthly reconciliations to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.

Paulette began her career with Montana State in 2018 as an Administrative Associate in the Athletics Business Office before moving into her current role with Fiscal Shared Services in August 2021. Her strong background in administration and business operations has made her an integral part of the university’s financial team.

Prior to joining MSU, Paulette gained experience in both the healthcare and nonprofit sectors, serving as an Administrative Assistant for Gallatin Valley Surgical Arts and as Executive Director for the Rocky Mountain Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Association of Montana. She also owned and operated Rosin Ready Capri Campers from 2004 to 2019 and was a Board Member and Director of Bozeman Wrestling Club for 20 years.

A proud Montana State alumna, Paulette earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing in 1997.

Paulette and her husband, Derry, live in Bozeman and have three children, Chase (and her husband Benji), Chance, and Sydnee.
