Background: Attended Hellgate High School in Missoula ... Two-time Class AA state champion in the 1600 meters ... Helped the Knights to back-to-back state titles in cross country ... Placed 15th at the state cross country meet to earn All-State honors as a senior before going on to compete at Nike Cross Regionals ... During senior track season, placed third in the 800 meters and third in the 4x400 meter relay at the state meet in addition to her second crown in the 1600 meters ... Junior year began with a seventh place finish at the Class AA cross country meet and a 5k personal-best of 19:21.01 ... Finished fifth at the state meet in the 800 and had a fifth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay ...
