At MSU (2023-24) Enters the spring season 2nd in goat tying and 13th in barrel racing in the Big Sky Region… finished 5th in the all-around at NWC #1… four top 10 finishes in goat tying during the fall, including a win NWC #2… two top 10 barrel racing finishes. (2022-23) Three Big Sky region top 10 finishes in breakaway roping, two in goat tying and barrel racing… a pair of top five all-around finishes, as well.
Rodeo Background: Panguitch Invitational Rodeo All-Around Cowgirl in 2022, winning barrel racing and team roping titles… Idaho High School Rodeo Association District 4 All-Around Cowgirl in 2022, winning barrel racing and goat tying titles… IHSRA District 4 goat tying and barrel racing champion in 2021.
Academics and Family: Majors in accounting… one of three children of Kathryn and Tom Newman… a multi-sport athlete at Ririe High, graduating there in 2022.
