JUNIOR (2019-20)

Martell prepped at Somerset High School where she led the Spartans to a 21-4 overall record and a 14-1 conference mark last winter...as a senior, averaged 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game...finished senior campaign shooting 54 percent from the field, 46 percent from three-point range and 72 percent at the free throw line...guided SHS to a regional and conference title and a sectional runner-up showing...was named conference MVP, all-state, all-conference and Wisconsin Senior Shooter of the Year...a team captain, set the Somerset mark for most points in a game with 41 and became the SHS all-time leading scorer with 1,965 career points...also notched a school-record 240 three-pointers...led the Spartans to a 71-25 overall mark during her tenure on the squad...as a junior averaged 23.7 points per game and earned all-state and Middle Border Conference MVP accolades...as a freshman and sophomore, averaged 17 points per contest and was all-conference both seasons...was an all-conference pick in volleyball...was s a four-year academic letter winner.
