Whitcomb joins the Bobcats coaching staff after graduating from the College of St. Scholastica in 2025. A four-year member of the Saints ski team, Whitcomb served as a team captain from 2023-2025 and earned CCSA All-Region Second Team honors in both 2024 and 2025. In 2025, she completed a coaching internship with the Saints ski team, and she graduated with a degree in exercise physiology.
During the summer of 2025, she was the head coach of the Holderness Nordic summer training program for middle school and high school athletes and served as an assistant coach for Holderness Nordic and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Whitcomb was a 2023 DemandIX Fellow with WomenX, an organization founded on the anniversary of Title IX, that educates and empowers the next generation of female leaders on campuses.
Whitcomb is currently pursuing a master's degree in exercise physiology and nutrition at MSU, specializing in ski biomechanics. Her thesis focuses on inter-joint coordination across ability levels and speeds in V2 skate skiing.
